Your questions answered

We know that you might have questions about the changes this year. So we've put together some answers below.

Letter from Santa isn't running this year, as we're giving it a little rest.

We know how much it’s meant to families, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s ordered – especially those who’ve come back year after year.

Your support has helped us be there for children who need us, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

But don’t worry – the festive magic isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to share our Kindness Kit this Christmas, so you and your children can count down to the big day in a fun and joyful way.

We understand how special Letter from Santa has been for so many families – it’s a tradition we’re incredibly proud of. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to pause the offer for this year.

We’re always looking at how we deliver our Christmas products to make sure they raise as much money as possible for children, while still bringing joy to families.

This year, we’re focusing on a new way to celebrate with the Kindness Kit, which we know will bring just as much festive magic to your home.

We’re so grateful for your continued support! This year, we’re excited to offer the Kindness Kit – a magical new product designed to help children prepare for Santa’s visit with fun, festive activities.

And you can also make a donation today and help Childline be there for every child who needs us this Christmas. We're very grateful for anything you can give to help us answer the next urgent call.

While we’re not able to offer personalised letters this year, the Kindness Kit includes a Nice List certificate to help it feel personal for the child in your life.

The new Kindness Kit will capture the same festive spirit and excitement that made Letter from Santa so special. It’s designed for children aged 4 to 9 and includes joyful activities to help them get ready for Santa’s arrival on Christmas Eve.

Every purchase you make helps us continue our vital work protecting children and supporting families across the UK.

While the kit is designed to bring joy to your home, it also helps us be there for children who need us this Christmas.

We really hope it brings joy to your family and creates new magical moments to treasure.
