NSPCC Ambassadors for Childhood
Ant & Dec
The prime-time television presenting duo, Ant & Dec, have supported the NSPCC since the 2000s but relaunched their support in January 2020.
They were a major part of the NSPCC being able to remain in schools during the pandemic with their support and involvement in re-purposing our school content for video.
Both continue to support our flagship Childhood Day, as well as our Speak out Stay safe school service.
Wayne Rooney
Footballer Wayne became the first NSPCC Ambassador for Childhood in 2015.
Since then, Wayne and his Foundation have supported numerous campaigns, including PANTS, and always-on services, including Childline.
Wayne says: “As a dad of young boys and the son of loving and supportive parents, I want to help children stay safe. I hope that knowing I’m supporting the NSPCC will help give abused youngsters the confidence and courage to seek the help they deserve.”
Sir Bradley Wiggins
Former professional world-title-winning cyclist, and dad of three, Sir Bradley, became an NSPCC Ambassador for Childhood in 2023, after speaking out about his own lived experience of abuse he suffered as a child.
Sir Bradley has been instrumental in the success of our Listen up, Speak up campaign, which encourages everyone to be vigilant and spot the signs of child abuse and neglect.
Geri Halliwell-Horner
Singer, author and actress Geri is best known for being one-fifth of the world-famous pop band, The Spice Girls.
Geri has been a supporter of the NSPCC and our Childline service for many years, visiting the service centre in London and appearing in campaign videos to support.
Charlie Webster
Journalist, broadcaster and podcast host Charlie has been a force in using her own lived experience to stand up, speak out and help others, by championing our campaigns from the front line.
Charlie has also been a guest speaker at many of our events, playing an integral part in fundraising for children.
Natalie Dormer
Natalie Dormer is a British film, TV and stage actor and producer, with her acting credits including Game of Thrones and the Hunger Games.
Natalie is a passionate champion and advocate of children’s rights. She's a longstanding supporter of Childline, and her support of this vital service over many years has led to her being appointed as the NSPCC’s Ambassador for Childline in 2019.

Carl Fogarty MBE
World Superbike Champion and 2014’s King of the Jungle, Carl Fogarty MBE, the first NSPCC North West Ambassador for Childhood, has been supporting the NSPCC for many years.
In 2016 he led a charity trek across Iceland and personally raised £27,500 to take part.
He's since gone on to trek in Patagonia and Transylvania as well as taking part in many UK challenges.
Carl is a regular at the annual Glamour of Manchester Childline Ball and will always put his hands in his pocket to help the NSPCC.
Sam Kennedy-Warburton OBE OStJ
Former Wales and Lions captain Sam Kennedy-Warburton OBE OStJ became the first NSPCC Wales Ambassador for Childhood in 2021.
The former international rugby player was appointed following his long-standing and ongoing support. The father-of-two raised more than £100,000 for the NSPCC during his 2018/19 testimonial year.
Sam says: "It's a privilege to be an NSPCC Wales Ambassador for Childhood and a role I'm very proud of. The work of the NSPCC is absolutely vital for the wellbeing of our younger generation who face many challenges in today's climate. I've seen first-hand many of the volunteers and staff at work and they're inspirational life savers."
Shaniqua Okwok
Actress Shaniqua, who starred in Steve McQueen’s BAFTA and Golden Globe winning anthology series ‘Small Axe’ and the award-winning drama It’s a Sin, became an NSPCC Ambassador for Childhood in 2024.
Shaniqua is looking forward to making an impact and supporting children and young people by joining Team NSPCC; with a focus on our Childline service.
NSPCC Campaigners for Childhood
Jim Chapman
One of the UK’s original 'YouTubers', Jim’s digital audience have 'grown up' alongside him and seen him become a father in 2021 to daughter, Margot.
Jim began his NSPCC Campaignership in early 2023, appearing on an episode of the award-winning Netmums podcast alongside fellow NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood and wife, Sarah Chapman, talking about their support of the Listen up, Speak up campaign.
Jim has also attended a campaign launch, visited Childline’s London base and supported our Lindt partnership, which fundraises for Childline.
Sarah Chapman
Model and writer Sarah is passionate about children’s literacy, ever more so since becoming a mother to daughter Margot in 2021.
Sarah joined as an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in early 2023, attending a launch event for Listen up, Speak up and sharing campaign news online, as well as appearing in a Netmums podcast and visiting Childline’s London base.
Pandora Sykes
Writer and broadcaster Pandora has supported the NSPCC since 2021, sharing news of our annual Letter from Santa campaign and hosting an Instagram Live chat with clinical psychologist Dr Emma Svanberg to talk about Look Say Sing Play.
Pandora became an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in 2022, hosting our first In Conversation event where she chatted about the experience of childhood with psychotherapist and author Philippa Perry.
Terri White
Journalist, author, broadcaster and screenwriter, Terri, has supported the NSPCC and Childline for a long time.
Terri has highlighted our campaigns and actions in her writing for national publications, and officially became an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in early 2023, attending a launch event for Listen up, Speak up and visiting Childline’s London base.
Heidi Range
Mother of two Heidi is best known for her time spent as a singer in the band, Sugababes.
Heidi began supporting the NSPCC in 2022, attending an In Conversation event and going on to support our Letter from Santa campaign, as well as hosting an awards ceremony for our GCP2 assessment tool.
Heidi became an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in early 2023.
Ian 'H' Watkins
Best known for being part of the band Steps, Ian, dad of twins, joined as an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in 2023.
After setting up Pride week in his hometown of Cowbridge, and inviting the NSPCC along, Ian has kept engaged by joining a chat with our internal LGBTQ+ PINCC (Pride in the NSPCC's Colleagues and Children) network.
Ian has also supported our Letter from Santa campaign.
Rosey Davidson
Baby and child sleep consultant, Rosey, became an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood in 2022, supporting the Letter from Santa fundraising efforts by sharing across her social media.
Anna Williamson
TV and podcast presenter Anna is an NSPCC Campaigner for Childhood, and a trained Childline counsellor.
Anna has supported the NSPCC for many years via campaign work and podcast recordings and has a particular focus on supporting campaigns to do with the Early Years.
James Milner MBE
Liverpool professional footballer, James Milner MBE, has supported the NSPCC personally and through his charity The James Milner Foundation for over 10 years.
James and the James Milner Foundation have donated over £300,000 to assist in funding our Speak out Stay safe school assembly service.
Fay Greaves
Star of the first season of BBC's BAFTA winning series 'The Traitors', Fay worked in education for 30 years, alongside being a basketball player and coach, before retiring in 2023.
Fay began supporting NSPCC in 2023, visiting our Headquarters and supporting on various campaigns, including Walk for Children, and attending Childline’s Merry Little Christmas concert.
NSPCC Champions of Childhood
Amber Ogunsanya-William
The NSPCC’s first-ever Champion of Childhood, Amber, is a playworker, content creator, presenter and international inclusion specialist.
Amber lends her creativity, energy and enthusiasm to create content that elevates and amplifies our campaigns. She brought our first Childline ‘Here for Everyone’ event to life, by hosting a play area for guests’ children to have fun and be creative.

Dr Ranj Singh
Doctor, television presenter and author Dr Ranj is a long-time Friend of the NSPCC and Childline, attending events, creating video content for Childline and sharing campaign and fundraising product news.
The Gill Family
JB, Chloe, Ace and Chiara Gill, of music and television fame, have been Friends of the NSPCC for many years.
JB hosted a live book reading to raise awareness and funds, and the family supported fundraising products by wearing t-shirts and creating video content.
The whole family appeared in the virtual Christmas concert for Childline in 2020, with magician Ben Hanlin performing magic tricks to wow them and our audience.
Ben Hanlin
Magician and supporter, Ben, has performed magic shows to support several of our events including one in partnership with Sky VIP, as well as sharing news to raise awareness on his social media platforms.
Ben created a giant Rubik’s Cube piece of artwork to be auctioned during lockdown.
Samantha Faiers
Samantha has supported the NSPCC for a number of years with her major support coming from a jumper she created for one of our Christmas campaigns.
This raised enough to fund Childline nationally for a day and remains the best-selling product ever in our shop.
Anton du Beke
After partnering with Childline founder, Dame Esther Rantzen, on Strictly Come Dancing, Anton has hosted events, created content and supported our campaigns.
Anton donated his prize winnings from his appearance on the television game show Catchphrase to Childline.
Kem Cetinay
Kem has supported Childline and campaigns around mental health, as well as creating lots of impactful video content for press purposes.
Maya Jama
Maya undertook an incredible schools tour where she visited six schools nationwide to promote Childline to teenagers and talk about issues affecting them.
The Humes
Rochelle and Marvin Humes fundraised for the NSPCC via their kitchen raves and at-home challenges during lockdown.
Ore Oduba
Television star Ore has supported the NSPCC over the years by shining light on our campaigns and presenting our Childline Christmas Concert in 2020.
George Mpanga
George, also known as ‘George the Poet’, has amplified our campaigns by talking about our work in the media.
George wrote an original poem for Childline, which was used in our rapid response campaign, during the pandemic.
Lemar
Singer Lemar has performed at events in support of the NSPCC and Childline, including the Childline Merry Little Christmas Concert in 2022.
Lemar appears in the 2023 Omaze advert, encouraging viewers to enter the prize draw to win a house – a million-pound partnership helping to raise funds for our vital work.
