We're launching our first Game Safe Cup

The free-to-enter EA SPORTS FC™ 24 tournament will have a unique, creator-led format that will give players the opportunity to play against their favourite online stars.

LAN, National Student Esports and SAF are partnering with us to launch our first esports tournament.
The tournament forms part of our Game Safe Festival, running from 5-11 February 2024.
We're hosting a range of events that celebrate the world of gaming and encourage attendees to act now to protect young players.

The Game Safe Festival will celebrate all that’s great about the world of gaming. It will also encourage parents, professionals who work with children and the gaming community to join us in our mission to create a safer online world for young people. The festival is packed with learning opportunities as well as new ways to donate and fundraise.

Tournament registration will open on 3 January 2024 and players can follow SAF_gg on X (formerly known as Twitter) to find out how to sign up. Online qualifiers will begin on 13 January 2024 and successful contestants will have the opportunity to play in an all-expense paid live final at Confetti X in Nottingham on 10 and 11 February 2024.

Alongside the Game Safe Cup, we're hosting a range of online and in-person events as part of the Game Safe Festival. These are designed to:

equip people with the tools and confidence they need to protect young players
bring together key industry stakeholders to improve safeguarding practices across the sector
encourage everyone to fundraise by broadcasting our gameplay live as part of our Press play for the NSPCC campaign.
