Join our Walk for Children this Christmas
Last Christmas, over 5,000 children contacted our Childline service to ask for support. Help Childline be ready for every question, even on Christmas Day.
Taking place on 21 December, Walk for Children is the NSPCC’s annual Christmas fundraising walk. Join hundreds of people across the UK and walk 5k in your local area on the longest night of the year. Because for children suffering abuse, every night feels like the longest.
Walk for Children is for everyone. Walk 5k, or as far as you can, with your friends, family, furry companions or by yourself this Christmas. Choose to walk on 21 December, or on a day that suits you. Whenever you take part in our Christmas charity event, you could help Childline be ready for every question this festive season.

What you'll get
Why should I take part?
Children have so many questions at Christmas – for parents, teachers, Santa, and even Childline.
-
This Christmas, a child will contact Childline every 45 seconds on average.
-
Over 1,900 children contacted Childline about mental health last Christmas.
-
Childline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, staffed by volunteer counsellors ready to answer calls day or night this Christmas.
By joining Walk for Children, you'll raise vital funds which will make a difference. Your fundraising could help Childline be there for every child - whenever they need us. With your support, Childline can be ready for every urgent question this Christmas.
Meet Paul, Nicky, Holly, and Hattie
The Mehta family took part in Walk for Children last year in Surrey. They were motivated to take part as Holly and Hattie wanted to learn more about Childline, an NSPCC service.
They also wanted to help raise awareness and money for the NSPCC over the festive season. They raised an amazing £156!
