On 15th January 2021, the Government launched its independent review of children’s social care. The review, chaired by Josh MacAlister, is seeking to consider the experiences and outcomes for children who have contact with children’s social care and identify key things that need changing within the system.
The NSPCC will be available to provide support to children, adults and families who are participating in the review and need support, advice or to discuss safeguarding concerns through our Helpline and Childline services.
If you are contributing to the review as an adult and you need support, you can contact the NSPCC Helpline by:
- Emailing help@nspcc.org.uk (please let us know that you’re involved in the Care Review in your email)
- Calling our dedicated number on 0800 233 311, available from 8am to 10pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
- Completing our online reporting form.
